Lucy Marks has more than 20 years experience working in leading family law firms in Central London with a particular specialism in financial applications on divorce, including high value cases, and private law children cases, including relocation applications. She has been involved in numerous reported cases.
Lucy is sensitive and empathetic to the difficulties clients face going through this process. She handles clients efficiently but with understanding. She is often approached by clients who need a guiding hand in a time of need and her manner is professional but patient.

Lucy founded her own practice Marks Law where she worked until 2025. Prior to this she was Head of Family Law at a niche private client practice and previously Partner at one of the leading City law firms specialising in high net worth family law. She qualified and practiced with Mishcon de Reya, subsequently developing her practice exclusively in the full field of family law matters.
Lucy studied modern languages at Cambridge University and speaks French and Spanish. She has regularly been involved in cases where there is an international angle.
Lucy is an Associate of AIJUDEFA , the Association of Spanish speaking family lawyers based in Chile.
Lucy is an accredited specialist member of Resolution, a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive, non-confrontational way.
